Biography of Dr. Waseem Alwan Zaboon Dr. Waseem Alwan Zaboon is a faculty member at the College of Engineering, University of Wasit, Iraq, specializing in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, with a strong research focus on Statistical Process Control (SPC), Control Chart Pattern Recognition (CCPR), Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Quality Engineering. He earned his doctoral degree through Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where his research centered on intelligent manufacturing systems and the application of machine learning techniques for industrial quality monitoring. His work has contributed to the development of advanced algorithms for recognizing control chart patterns, improving manufacturing process reliability, and supporting real-time industrial decision-making. Dr. Zaboon has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in reputable international journals and conference proceedings. His research spans feature selection, ensemble learning, explainable artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and smart manufacturing technologies. His publications have received international citations and have contributed to advances in quality control and industrial engineering.
